October 2022 Durango Colorado Updike Family Reunion

Brian and April purchased a cabin in Durango, Colorado that they rent out. They reserved it for a week so that all of us could be together and enjoy it. It is a beautiful large cabin on a beautiful property.

The cousins were so excited to be reunited!

Lily and Presley are the only girls among the bunch of boys. I loved that Lily brought her nail stuff. She did mine, Presley's, Aunt Emily's and Grandma's nails. She is so talented.

Sleeping up in the loft . . . okay so Presley did. Lily wanted to sleep on the floor in our room.

Lots of "proving who is tougher" throughout the week.

We were happy that Grandma Ellen and Uncle Brock came. Uncle Brock's wife had just recently passed away from cancer. So hard!

The highlight of the whole trip for all of the boys was target practice. They loved learning about and practicing with different guns.

I told Uncle Brock that if he skinned and cleaned the fish . . . I would cook it.

Boston and Presley found some fun while we were exploring downtown Durango.

Fun and creative cousins . . . they divided up into 2 groups and made to amazing forts.

A family that the Updikes grew up with live in Durango also. They invited us over to their beautiful home and we got a sweet little drum concert from Brother Neighbors. He used to play in a band. They have created a fun haven for their grandchildren. A zipline, a beautiful trail that he dug himself . . . We all had a lot of fun!
