What are the chances?  2 broken bones within 2 weeks.   While we were in Las Vegas, Garrett's parents took the kids to the skate park - one of their most favorite places.  Unfortunately, on their way to the car after having so much fun, Crew fell and his bike landed on him funny breaking his wrist.   2 weeks later this little lady broke her arm.  She was talking to me at the top of our stars while she was holding a load of her stuff animals.  She dropped one of her animals and as she reached down to to pick it up, she stumbled and fell all the way down the stairs and landed on her arm funny.    My two little injured babies  Sadly, at her 2 week appoint to check her arm, her breaks in her wrist were worse and the bone started to bend inward.  The splint had not stabilized her arm enough.  The Doctor sent her to Children's hospital where she was fitted for a cast all the way up her arm in hopes that it wou...

 For years, Garrett has been asking me to go on a vacation with just the two of us.  I have always put that thought aside because I couldn't stand the thought of leaving my kiddos for that long and also I hated the thought of someone else watching these busy bodied kids while I was off having fun.  After 10 years of marriage, we finally did it!  We had tossed around several ideas of going to various places - but we settled on Las Vegas because it was closer and cheaper than other exotic beach places.  We really had such a fun time in Vegas!  It was such a great place to just read by the beautiful pool, spa day, go to fun and different restaurants and enjoy a fun show.  We both just enjoyed a relaxing time that we both very much needed.  A great big thanks to Garrett's parents for flying out and staying with our kids.  The kids had so much fun with them!  We sure appreciate all that they do for our family! ...
