This is what you get when you try to get 3 babies to cooperate for pictures with Grandpa and Grandma Updike. Such cute babies!

It was such a great day!

Talking... or something like that

So for the last two nights, Lily has gone to bed at about 10:00pm and woken up at 5:30am. It has been absolutely wonderful to have her sleep for so long, especially for Christina (although, the first night, she kept getting up every 30 minutes to make sure Lily was still breathing). We think that the extra sleep has helped her be a lot more vibrant during the day. In fact, yesterday, she started talking more than she ever has before. So we decided that everyone should get the chance to hear from the cutest little girl in the world. After our Sunday walk around the campus, this is what she had to say. Also, on our walk, we took some pictures of the beautiful flowers. (Don't call me Ansel Adams yet, but I think they turned out pretty sweet.) We really are going to miss the beautiful campus of Notre Dame. And of course, what would any post be without more pictures of Lily. Grandpa Updike wanted some pictures of her smiling, so here you go! And yawning... And last, but not leas...

Pucker Up!

So I learned this week that I may have to watch out for my little girl. She has developed a very cute habit of puckering up her lips. While we love it right now and think it is absolutely adorable, I may need to have a talk with her in a few years so that she doesn't do that around the boys. I mean, we have already been telling her that she can't date until she is at least 20, much less start kissing any boys! And of course, what would a post about Lily be without other pictures of the last couple of weeks. We just can't get enough of them! She has just discovered her toys and is starting to like them. It is hilarious to watch her get all excited when we put one in her bouncer. The stroller is still a little big for her, so we had to improvise. Gotta love the hair!!
