Another First - - Dance Class

Image
So I will be honest, I didn't ever really think that I would put a daughter in a dance class.  I am totally not opposed to "dance" - - I was just never really interested in it myself.  I just assumed I would put them into gymnastics or some other kind of sport.  However, when all of Lily's friends joined this dance class, taught by a women in our ward, it only made sense to put her in also.  Lily is a huge social butterfly so she was absolutely thrilled about going to dance class with her friends.  I made the mistake of taking her about month ago to purchase dance clothes.  I am not kidding . . . she asked me everyday if she could just look at her outfit/ballet and tap shoes.  She just could not wait for her dance class to start.   Look at this cutie patootie!! (As you can tell, I had to take lots of pics of this little cutie!)     This is her signature pose . . . it totally cracks me up! ...

Preschool . . . Here She Comes!

Beautiful Lily!!  She has been so excited to go to preschool again.  Don't you just love her model stance here?  She really wanted me to take of picture of her with her backpack showing.  Garrett and I are just so very proud of her.  She is such a smart cookie and we love that she is so eager to learn.  She has been so obsessed with rhyming lately.  Almost daily she calls out a word and tries to figure out words that rhyme with it.    Lily with her teacher Ms. Jeannie

Bike Riding

This little cutie finally got his very own bike.  Unfortunately, he wasn't able to ride it much the day he got it.  Once Garrett had it put together, the rain came.    The pedals are pretty stiff still so he has a hard time riding it . . . but we will keep practicing.  For now, he just looks so stinkin cute sitting on his bike!     And this little cutie wants to learn how to ride her bike without training wheels.  She is a bit frustrated - but like Boston, we will keep practicing with her. (She loves looking at her shadow!)

Kids Just Being Kids

I love this pic.  Boston and Lily showing off their painted toes.  Boston will have a meltdown if he can't have his toes painted like Lily's.  (I at least gave him a manly green color - much to Garrett's dismay).  Still obsessed with tools . . . notice the wrench in his hands. Parachute at story time. This little girl really likes to scrub the bathtub.  I am sure the minute I really want her to add bath tub cleaning to her chore list someday, she will totally object! I love how he is holding his hands in this cute picture. I "caught" sweet Boston holding Crew's arm. Ahhhhh! As I walked into Crew's room to check on him during his nap time . . . this is what I found him doing.  He was lifting his head as high as he could to look out his bedroom window.   I couldn't believe how long he held his head up for! (Long enough for me to run to my room to get ...
