The Updike's

Lily is just growing up way too fast!  She convinced her dad to take her to her favorite restaurant - Firehouse Subs for their date night. Homework homework homework! First official snow of the season Sunday night shenanigans with the cousins. Easter egg hunting for real eggs at Aunt Sarah's house.  They let their chickens roam free so it is always a guess as to where they lay their eggs. Giving Ari some loves Can't love these pictures enough!  So sweet! Garrett working hard to get our dryer working again!  I am proud of him for figuring things out!   Love when I walk into siblings playing so well together.

Poor Lily!  Her 6 week stretch with her splint did not help her arm to heal.  So a cast it is for 4 more weeks.  We are hoping that this helps it heal right or we might have to discuss surgery.  Fingers crossed. Showering is never easy with a cast!  Lily is making fun of me here in the picture . . . She things my wrap job is pretty crazy.  Ha!

We have had this Moab girls trip planned for months and months.  And the time finally arrived.   It really was so great to be reunited.  I have been close friends with Jana and Emily since I moved to Colorado.  We raised our babies together.  They were truly family away from home.  We all met Leslie and Jana at the gym and we became fast friends.  Such good women! Games and good talks Good Meals Most of these women are die hard gym goers - so even on vacation we all work out. And then we hiked all day Saturday until the heavy rain forced us out.  It was so beautiful and such perfect weather until the rain.   Landscape Arch Delicate Arch The Three Gossips Pouring rain ended our hiking a bit early - but we feel so blessed that we were able to get a lot in.   Hot tubbing at the motel felt so good on our sore muscles from hiking.
