Summer
Yay for summer! or Not? This is the first summer where the kids seem to be bored out of their minds! I have banned TV/Technology during the days and they can still only play video games on Friday evening. Boredom is killing them (and me). I want them to use their creativity but I think they are getting to the age that everything is so lame now since they don't play with toys. And to be fair - it has been so hot outside so their usual game of basketball and been put on pause until it cools down. Heaven help us this summer! I have even had to force them to walk/scooter to artic circle for a shake and go to the pool. The fun thing with boredom, though, is that they have been loving reading the blog books nonstop.
