Lil Munchkins

Lily: "Hurry and eat your popsicle before it melts, Boston." I love her cute imagination! Big Stuff! It is so fun when they start playing together! Poor boy . . . his sister is already dressing him up! This little boy has struggled in the solid food department. I finally just poured some food on his tray and he loved putting his hands in it and eating it off his fingers. Whatever works, right? Snuggled in the pillows Notice her sad face? A meltdown occured when I mentioned that she might want to keep her Minnie Mouse ears inside the car while we go into the grocery store. Not going to happen! Despite her stubborness, I sure love this girl! I just cannot get enough of this cute face!! Love this boy! Where's Boston? Playing in a mass of toys in Lily's closet. Gavin and Lily love story time with Grandma Crossley Poor Joslyn! Running away from all of her crazy boy cousins! Boston's first horsey ride! Dress up and story time with Aunt Laura and Gavin

A Day of Thanks

I love Thanksgiving! Of course I love good food - but even more than that I always look forward to spending time with family! I have certainly been blessed with such a fantastic family . . . both my family and Garrett's family!! What a lucky girl I am! Happy Thanksgiving!! This year we celebrated Thanksgiving with my side of the family. It was a little different this year because Grant is gone on his mission and also Grandma Crossley and Todd's family celebrated Thanksgiving with Amy's family. We certainly missed them! All in all though, it was a happy and fun day!! The Great Hosts of the Day - Dad and Mom (So much for a family picture . . . Lily was too busy playing with cousins to stop for a picture) My sister-in-law Ashley posted this on Facebook the day before Thanksgiving. It is hilarious . . . "One year ago I watched the famous "Crossley Thanksgiving Basketball" game. Jed was wearing his jr. high track suit with church shoes, Sam was crying ...

October Happenings . . . Lily and Gavin love reading with Grandma Helping Grandma Crossley decorate her house for Halloween Helping mom with Halloween Cookies Smiley Boy! Aunt Emily came into town with her two cute boys, Tyler and Mikey. The kids played so well together. Thanks for making the trip out here . . . we enjoyed having your sweet family here. (Poor Emily ended up having to deal with a kidney stone . . . I felt so bad for her! What a trooper!) Lily and Tyler enjoyed carving pumpkins with Garrett. Boston dressed up in his "Green Bay Packer" onsie for the Halloween party at playgroup. Our sweet neighbor, Donna, put together the cutest Halloween party for a bunch of the neighborhood kids. Lily and Tyler had a blast hitting a pinata, did a cake walk, face painting . . . etc. On Halloween day, we went to Aunt Shawnee's work at the car lot and did some Trick or Treating with some of the local businesses in the parking lot. So fun! Lily and Gavin Austin and Bosto...

September

Since I am so far behind in the blogging arena . . . I am going to catch up month by month. Here we go .... September in a flash! We were excited to have Grandpa Updike stay with us for a few days while out here for business. As you can see . . . the kids absolutely loved playing/looking at games on Grandpa's phone. Is Grandpa enjoying "Lily's Purple Plastic Purse" a little more than Lily? What a sweet sister helping her little brother put on his shoes! What a cutie! Lily and Potty Training = a patience tester for Mom and Dad. Seriously, I had no idea how hard potty training was going to be. We actually started a few months ago and decided we would get her a scooter/bike when she accomplished this potty training business. She was in 7th heaven when she finally got her scooter! (and yes, we are still working on this potty training phase). Boston experienced his first "solid" food. Rice Cereal. He really did pretty good for his first time. Unfortuna...
