The Updike's

I love these little love notes that are left around the house.   This kid . . . cracks us up!  Callum's grumpy face is hilarious and oh so cute! The PRIME obsession in real!  Like For REALS!! Football throwing and catching with Crew, Lily and Presley. Grant has mad cheescake making skills!  Yum! Cinnamon rolls and General Conference watching. Presley is obsessed with Mac and Cheese.  She makes her own Mac and Cheese on the stove and loves to write about it.  So Cute! We went to a new hair stylist who has dogs that adored Boston.  Boston was in 7th heaven. Jed celebrating his birthday in style . . . laser tag and Handles ice cream for the win! Weston is one of Boston's best friends.  His cute family always invites Boston to go with them on day trips.  He had such a fun time! Garrett's work party was fun for the kids.  Axe throwing, golf simulator, bounce houses, dinner and an outdoor movie. Oh Presley!  She was trying to protect...

I never tire of watching any of my kids do what they are passionate about.  Football is Boston's passion and as much as it kills me to think that he could be hurt - his energy and drive is inspiring.   Garrett was pretty excited that he got to be in charge of the loud horn when touchdowns happened.  Coach Bowman was a fantastic coach.  They really worked so hard to help the boys learn and thrive.  Sometimes a little tough on them - but always wrapped up with love and compliments. The team made it to the playoffs but lost that first playoff game.  So proud of their hard work.  It has been fun to watch the friendships that have been made.
