Chicken Burial, BYU, STEM FAIR, & Other Life Happenings

This was an event that will always be remembered.  Boston had a fun and unique experience in 6th grade.  He learned about Ancient Egypt.  This included mummifying chickens, having an official chicken funeral, and then burying their mummified chickens.

All dressed and ready to go to a BYU game!  Go Cougs!

Though she doesn't look thrilled . . . Lily was excited for the opportunity to earn some money. She raked leaves all morning and was well compensated.
Such troopers!  We went to support a sister in our ward who directed a high school play.  She did an amazing job - but we were just not familiar with the story line so we were a bit confused the whole time.
This Kid!  Sometimes he has all the luck!  Actually he is just abundantly blessed in the brain department.  Garrett helped him follow his passion with football and he based his S.T.E.M project around that.  Lots of stats.
I was there to help judge (not Boston's) and had to leave immediately after to get back to work.  I am sad that I missed his winning announcement.  He told me later that he almost cried when he heard his name called letting him know that he had won and would be advancing to districts.  (We initially didn't think that he would be considered to move onto districts because his teacher let us know that his project didn't really follow the scientific method.  It was more research based).  We will see what happens with that at districts.
Look at that cute and proud smile!

Stem Project with Paper!

Presley has the best of the best primary teachers!  Sister Welling and Sister Bassir.  Here she is reading cover to cover the Friend Magazine that they drop off to her every single month.
I love this so much!  It was so cute to watch dad and son teaching/learning how to tie a tie.

Big and Little girls swimming.

Had such a fun night with family watching "The Chosen" at the movie theater.
