Lily's a Preschooler!!!!

Image
Lily has been soooo excited to start preschool!  I can't believe it is finally time for her to start.  She is growing up way too fast!  I have to laugh at this moment though.  I made the mistake of telling her that orientation day was her first day of school.  On this day she goes with her mom to meet her teacher and see her classroom.  When I told her that I was coming with her she just had a complete meltdown.  She was so adamant that she was a big girl and could go to school all by herself.   (Really!!??? Can my little girl just need me a little longer?) After the little meltdown, we made it to preschool in one piece and she even held my hand as we walked to school.  (Way to redeem yourself, little one!) **She was so excited to go to school that she wouldn't even eat her breakfast.  She could not wait to go!  Here is the preschooler on her first real official day of preschool.   We are s...

My Heart Just Melts

These sweet kiddos just melt my heart!  Sometimes day to day life seems hectic with 2 little needy ones, but I am glad they are so close in age.  It is so fun to see how much they love to play together and give each other loves.    Boston just likes to sit on anyone's lap that has a book.  I was cleaning the bathroom one day and walked into my bedroom to find this.  So stinkin sweet!  Watching an ant on the sidewalk.  Lily sharing her candy necklace with Boston. Watching the morning school bus pick up the kids.

I sure have a fantastic neighbor!  Sweet Donna is like another grandma for my kids.  She just spoils them.  She invites them to a Halloween party every year, brings them treats on holidays, and she just took us and another neighbor family to "This is the Place Park."  The kids loved it!  What a great place! Cute picture of Donna and Boston   One of the places that we stopped at was a little pioneer house.  They kids got to pretend to do some household chores and even some little games.  They loved it!  Watching the Indian Dancers  Boston riding on a horse.   Lily and her friend Ryland  Having so much fun on a train ride

Love this Lil' Tough Guy!

If there is a tool . . . Boston is right there.  He loves helping dad out with yard work.

I just love my hometown "Alpine Parade."  I look forward to it every year just like a little kid.  I get even more excited that my own children get excited for parades.  It was like a countdown for Lily.  She totally knows that a parade equals candy! Even Boston got into it and tried to pick up the candy that was thrown in his direction.  Yay for parades!   Laura and our kids were thrilled to have a day to spend with our Grandma Crossley.  The kids love playing at her house and we love visiting with her.  I am still impressed that she has so many toys that the kids love to play with.  Here are a couple of sweet pictures!   Shirtless because Lily and Boston had lunch all over their shirts.  I love these 2 pictures! Great Grandma and Boston

Kiddo Update

Oh, we just love this sweet kids so much!  They bring so much joy into our lives! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------     Sweet Lily Girl!  3 1/2 years-old.  She is growing up so fast.  She is such a good girl.  I think she has graduated from the "terrible 2" stage and her feisty attitude has calmed down... at least a little bit. She is so pleasant and loving, especially towards us and Boston.  She very much has maternal instinct in that she is constantly trying to help Boston.  (Whether he wants it or not).  She loves to play outside and wants to play with any kid that is around.  She will be our social butterfly.  And as the previous post indicated, she loves to sing.  We love you, Lily!  Our neighbor, Lexi, that lives across the street.  She is 5 yrs-old but she is so sweet to play with Lil...
