Quarantine Activities

With the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been required to "stay-at-home" . . . homeschool, work at home . . . etc.  The kids really have not left our home since March 14 except for a couple of drives here and there.  We are all a little bit stir crazy, (and sometimes grumpy and bickering) but it has been so nice to have us all together.

Sidewalk chalking
 Exercise videos

 Puzzling
 Random day of snow

Popsicles in the cold, why not?

 Snuggles and movie watching

Cardboard box fun!
Home church - Lily did such a great job teaching our family about Jacob 5 - The Olive Tree.

From my previous post . . .

Final crazy wall . . . but the boys absolutely love it!  I'm not sure why it looks like yellow and pink paint - but it is actually gray and purple.   All of the colors the boys picked out.

Book reading!

Homeschool has been an adjustment also.  The first week was stressful trying to get everything technology figured out . . . but we finally feel like we are getting it all figured out.

Dad and Lily with her favorite subject: Math.  Her frustrated face cracks me up. (Like mother like daughter - we both struggle with math).
Lots of family bike rides!

Homework assignment for Boston - place a bear in our window for friends doing a bear hunt on their walks.

Crew decoding secret codes with his friend, Greyson.
Basketball for days!!  Our neighbor offered us his basketball hoop about a year ago and we just didn't feel like we had a place for it.  However, with this quarantine, when we knew that we would all have to be home 24/7 - I knew that our kiddos needed something fun to help them stay active.  Our neighbor's were so excited to hand off their beloved basketball hoop and our kids have been loving it!

Oh, Presley!  She is going to bring my stress all of my years I am sure!  Ha!  She wants so bad to shave the side of her head and color her hair with stripes.  What?  I told her I would only braid the side of her back - but no shaving!!
Head shaving time!  The boys wanted to see how much their hair would grow during this isolation time.  We had a little fun during the buzzing process also!

Lily putting make-up on Presley.  Woozer!  Beautiful!  Ha!

We had a fun church day doing virtual church with Jerry and Lane French.  The kids sang them a song and shared a few scripture stories with them.

Presley loves to do my hair.  So pretty!
