Christmas Fun Part 2

Uncle Austin is amazing!  He has taken it upon himself to carry on the beloved Alpine tradition of the Christmas eve program and brown bag gift.  It is always so special and I am grateful the Austin took over when it was initially going to end for whatever reason.

This year, because of COVID, Austin planned an outdoor live Nativity.  Austin needed help last minute so he asked the boys if they would like to be Roman guards welcoming people into Bethlehem.

The boys were so excited and they had so much fun waving at the cars as they came in with their swords.
Austin had his 2 new goats and his donkey as part of the Nativity.  He was able to even get a sheep to be a part of it.
Grandpa Crossley kept Senior Carrots in line.

Dad was also recruited to be a wiseman.
Aunt Sarah was a shepherd.

The tradition continued with prepared brown bags with peanuts, orange, a piece of hard candy and a piece of chocolate.

Boston and Crew were cracking up trying to lead one of Austin's stubborn goats to his truck.

Our Christmas eve dinner was picked out by Lily.  Roast, mash potatoes, carrots, jello, and rolls.  We aren't fancy so we ate on paper plates.  Yes!  We wanted an easy clean up!
My favorite part of Christmas Eve - our sweet little Nativity re-enactment.  These kiddos are just so cute!

I love this pic of "Mary" (Presley) kissing her baby Jesus.
Throwing out food for Santa's reindeer!
Garrett and I woke up to the kiddos singing Christmas songs to wake us up and the they lined up from youngest to oldest to run into the family room.
So very excited to see that Santa brought them a Nintendo Switch for Christmas!  I was very hesitant about this gift - but with some schedules in place  - hopefully we can find balance.  I want them to enjoy it without getting addicted to it.

Lily was excited to get her LED lights for her room.

As you can see from her face, Presley was so excited to get her princess vinyl wall stickers.
Boston and Crew were excited to get super nice football and Avenger pictures for their rooms.

Favorite cereals all around!

A very special gift came in the mail from Pat and Rita . . . a very beautiful handmade kaleidoscope.  Rita made all of the beautiful stain glass.
I love this picture of Grandpa Crossley dressed like Santa!
Christmas breakfast of scones!

Remote control jeep for the win!
LED lights made her room super cool!
Rocking out to Taylor Swift with her headphones!
Oh La La princess stickers!

Nintendo Switching!
