 Every year around the kiddos b-days I love to update their sweet little thoughts and desires.   Here is Lily and Boston's answers to their yearly questionnaire.

 Lily-  Age 5

1. What is your favorite color? Pink
2. What is your favorite toy? Crowns, bracelets, dress ups
3. What is your favorite fruit? Strawberries
4. What is your favorite tv show?  Sophia The First - The Floating Palace
5, What is your favorite thing to eat for lunch? Corn Dogs
6. What is your favorite outfit? Butterfly t-shirts
7. What is your favorite game? Chutes and Ladders
8. What is your favorite snack? Sour Patch Kids
9. What is your favorite animal? Kitty Cats
10. What is your favorite song? Gethsemane
11. What is your favorite book? Princess Book
12. Who is your best friend? Maela
13. What is your favorite cereal? Round circle balls (pnut butter)
14. What is your favorite thing to do outside? Play in the snow
15. What is your favorite drink? Cranberry juice
16. What is your favorite holiday? Dad's b-day  (This one cracked me up!)
17. What do you like to take to bed with you at night? Minnie Mouse and Blanket
18. What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast? Pancakes
19. What do you want for your dinner on your birthday? Texas Road House (Just like her dad!)

 Boston - Age 2 (3 yrs old in less than a month)

5, What is your favorite thing to eat for lunch? Macaroni and Cheese
6. What is your favorite outfit? Rocket Shirt
7. What is your favorite game? Fish Game
8. What is your favorite snack? Nerds
9. What is your favorite animal? Kitty Cats
10. What is your favorite song? The Wiseman Song
11. What is your favorite book?Mickey Mouse book
12. Who is your best friend? Pluto . . . and then he said, actually Kaden and Dylan
13. What is your favorite cereal? Round circle balls (pnut butter)
14. What is your favorite thing to do outside? Throw snowballs at Lily
15. What is your favorite drink? Sprite and Chocolate Milk
16. What is your favorite holiday? Halloween and he already wants to be a knight next yr.
17. What do you like to take to bed with you at night? Blanket
18. What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast? Wheaties
19. What do you want for your dinner on your birthday? Quesadillas
20. What do you want to be when you grow up? A kitty Cat, oh wait, I want to be a hockey player and a football player

I love these answers. What a treasure! My girls are obsessed with Sofia the First ad the Floating Palace. We recorded it and watch it often.

I love this! And I love that Kaden and Dylan are Boston's best friends. So sweet. I'm totally stealing this idea! What a fun way to document their growing thoughts.

I have loved this yearly tradition of running the Colorado Bolder Boulder with these amazing women.  Unfortunately, this year I had to opt out at the very last minute due to unexpected foot problems (tendonitis).  I love getting geared up every spring and training every Saturday with such a great group of women.  This picture was taken on our annual Saturday breakfast before the run.  I sure hope to run with them again next year.

Lily is Home!

We got to bring Lily home from the hospital last night. It's kinda crazy to think that this beautiful little girl is ours. We definitely have a lot to learn about being parents, but are sure excited for it. We are especially grateful that our families are so willing to help out with everything. My parents are here right now and then Christina's mother and sister will be coming next week. We feel blessed to always have their support. Here are some pictures from the last couple of days. Here is a very proud grandpa spending time with his little grand daughter. He does such a good job with her and it is neat to see how proud he is. Also, here is one of the funniest little videos. So far, her eyes have been very perceptive, but here, I think she got a little overwhelmed. I think her hands mess with her eyes. We have to keep them covered cause she always is scratching her face. Lily Updike

Just wanted to let everyone know that Lily had finally arrived! She came last night at 6:23pm, weighing 7lbs 4oz and 20in long. She is absolutely beautiful! Christina was an absolute champ during the whole process! Both Christina and Lily are doing fantastic. Here are some pics for you to enjoy.
