Pictures, Pictures, Pictures
I feel like I am always playing catch up with these blog postings . . . but after documenting 8 years, I just can't stop posting great things now. Our family loves to look at our printed blog books and see all of life's happenings. True treasures that is for sure! Though I don't write as much as I used to - - these pictures are priceless to our little family!
3 little babes in the tub
Don't let this sweet precious face fool you . . . Our little Presley is a determined feisty pants.
But despite her strong willed personality, she continues to melt our hearts every single day.
Lily Belle was given an assignment from her teacher to talk to someone and learn how she and her classmates could help someone in our community. She had her heart set on talking to Grandpa Updike about helping him in his profession . . . but it just wasn't quite working with her assigned project. I love how hard she worked on her poster from her conversation with Grandpa, though. In the end, she changed her mind on her project and spoke with a woman in our neighborhood and ward who heads up a foundation called "Believe in Haiti." Lily has had the opportunity to help her in packing food shipments for those that are struggling in Haiti. It really is amazing organization. Whitney was so cute with Lily and she shared some experiences with her while Lily took meticulous notes.
It takes a whole household to get mom looking pretty!
Beautiful Colorado!
This studly guy had a major crash on his scooter on the way to school. A guy was running with his 2 dogs and stopped to help us. Because it was a head wound, there was blood everywhere. He didn't live far so he quickly ran home and grabbed bandaids and cleaning wipes. I was so thankful for his help! A reminder to us of how great people are!
Such a fun night at the temple to plant flowers.
Storytime!
Pat, our great neighbor, was so great to show these cute kiddos all of the dinosaur bones that he recovered from his excavation. He works at a science museum and wanted to show the kids before they were transferred to where they needed to go. Amazing!! Boston was especially intrigued!
Scary vampire teeth
To be a kid again . . . simple things in life (like cereal) that bring the greatest joys!
Homework is a family affair.
We went to turn off all of the lights before heading to bed and we stumbled upon this scene. Crew out cold in the hallway. Ha!
This cute girl had a fun time with Mom's phone camera!
Presley trying to eat Crew's candy out of his hand.
Lily was pretty excited to open up some of Grandma Crossley's old jewelry.
She carried it around for days and insisted on dressing up so she could wear her fancy jewelry to Home Depot.
