Sweet Little Baby Girl!

Can you tell that we are giddy about this baby already? We just keep looking at this picture and thinking how precious her little profile is.

This is the "It's a girl" picture. Can you tell? Neither could we - but the doctor insists it is absolutely a girl.

Oh my goodness! That profile really is perfect! I'd be staring at it all the time too. In fact, didn't I have our ultrasound pics in my purse when we came over to your house one time? So exciting! Enjoy pregnancy, Christina. It's such a special time imagining your little baby and getting to know her in a way. Congrats!

That is a good ultrasound photo! None of the other ultrasound photos make sense... Riley and Katelyn were both a suprise at delivery, but we found out with Hailey (our third) at the ultrasound and I guessed she was a boy by looking at the monitor, but was quickly told by the nurse that I was wrong. It is all just a bunch of blurr to me. How is your pregnancy going?

I am really good at reading sonograms since I've had dozens and dozens...you're seeing the little girl parts as she's lying on her side. See the three lines? That's the outer lip, the inner portion, and the other outer lip. Do you see it now? :)
I saw your link over at Mandy's blog..congrats! My two are nine and almost eight. How did I get this old? It's nice to see you again, Garrett!

WOW! That is a perfect Ultrasound picture! Both of my girls looked directly at the monitor so we don't have a cute profile picture like that. We're so excited for you! Girls are so much fun!

I have loved this yearly tradition of running the Colorado Bolder Boulder with these amazing women.  Unfortunately, this year I had to opt out at the very last minute due to unexpected foot problems (tendonitis).  I love getting geared up every spring and training every Saturday with such a great group of women.  This picture was taken on our annual Saturday breakfast before the run.  I sure hope to run with them again next year.

Lily is Home!

We got to bring Lily home from the hospital last night. It's kinda crazy to think that this beautiful little girl is ours. We definitely have a lot to learn about being parents, but are sure excited for it. We are especially grateful that our families are so willing to help out with everything. My parents are here right now and then Christina's mother and sister will be coming next week. We feel blessed to always have their support. Here are some pictures from the last couple of days. Here is a very proud grandpa spending time with his little grand daughter. He does such a good job with her and it is neat to see how proud he is. Also, here is one of the funniest little videos. So far, her eyes have been very perceptive, but here, I think she got a little overwhelmed. I think her hands mess with her eyes. We have to keep them covered cause she always is scratching her face. Just wanted to let everyone know that Lily had finally arrived! She came last night at 6:23pm, weighing 7lbs 4oz and 20in long. She is absolutely beautiful! Christina was an absolute champ during the whole process! Both Christina and Lily are doing fantastic. Here are some pics for you to enjoy.
