The Updike's

So I would have never thought to put a 21-month-old into a tumbling class . . . and yet, I am so glad that I did.  My neighbor has a little girl Crew's age and asked me to sign up with her.   With the new baby coming, it was so nice to spend some one on one time with the Crewster.  We had such a great time together playing with a parachute, puff balls, obstacle courses, and of course, Crew's favorite: Somersaults!   Sure love this little boy!

The kids are getting old enough to understand the importance of certain holidays and I really wanted to make sure we really tried to focus on being grateful and recognizing our many blessings during the month of November.  They didn't disappoint.  It was so sweet to see the things that they came up with.  (ie. milk, lollipops and toys along with the big ones like family and friends).    I think this picture is so cute . . . I heard my name being called and this is what I found.  Crewster's little fingers.  Somehow he got left behind downstairs.  Our sweet little kindergarten pilgrim     We are sure grateful for this good woman - Marlese Condie!  She and her husband have just really surrounded our family with love and friendship.  Marlese and John were Lily's sunbeam teachers when we first moved to Colorado.  My kids absolutely adore them and run up to them every Sunday.   I am so grat...
