Huh??!!

I am so far behind in the blogging scene . . . but this little episode deserves a posting. All I can say is, "Did my 2 1/2 year old just really say that?" So after a fun filled afternoon of playing with play dough, Lily decided to have "extra" fun and throw her play dough all over the kitchen floor. She absolutely knows this is unacceptable so off to time out she went. As I put her on the chair she cries out, "This is an outrage!" Seriously??? What in the world??

So it was way past due for both kiddos to get a haircut . . . it only took Lily 2 1/2 years to even need a trim and it only took Boston 5 months to need a major haircut. So funny! Before ... During . . . Ta da!!! What a handsome little man! A big thanks to Aunt Zon for trimming up her hair and for Uncle Sam for bribing her with candy so she would stand still. Such a pretty little lady!

Adventures in Oklahoma

This summer, we had the chance to go back to Oklahoma and visit Garrett's family. It was so much fun to get to see everyone, and especially cool to see Lily actually play with her cousins. Grandma doing a great job mesmerizing the kids during story time. Kind of a random picture, but here we are on the shuttle bus from the parking lot to the airport terminal. Lily was obsessed with riding on the bus... she...

Boston Boy! Talk about a low-maintenance little guy! Boston is the most content baby in the whole world. He really just likes to look at us and smile. He has recently started laughing and it is awesome! His laughs are adorable! And he is definitely a charmer. If you think that babies don't really like you much, come on over and hold Boston. He will smile at anyone! One of the cutest things of all is when I am nursing him. Periodically he will stop nursing, look up at me and smile. Then he will eat for a few more seconds, stop, look at me and smile. It is so sweet and warms my heart! He also just started playing with toys. And I guess by "playing" I mean sucking on toys. He likes to eat any of the little stuffed animals we give him. He is not quite sleeping through the night yet. Unfortunately, his most comfortable "spot" is on his tummy in Mom and Dad's bed. So while he starts out in his crib every night, he will usually end up in our bed somet...
